Islas Canarias – 3 months on black islands…

Canaries were for us a crazy caleidoscope of family and friends visits, repairs, new friends, school, diving, work, parties, not much sailing, improvements and extensive spendings that resulted in even more new grateful friends from chandleries all over the Tenerife and quite big dents in our first year budget 🙂 I could say “life sucks”, but I’d rather say “life is awesome”, because we continue to sail and that’s what matters!

Most important is that we’ve been to many fantastic places, like my personal favourite La Gomera, we climbed El Teide, we ate the best cachapas ever, in the bar squized between garages in La Laguna and we met THE Dude – His Dudness (pst… classified location) in the local bar in the middle of the night.

We spent more than month with OSHEE World Expedition crew. Side by side – brothers in arms – in the most boring marina in this part of the world, waiting for parts to fix our engine and their generator. We met amazing people though, parties were epic and legends of White Dog and Oshee will be told, not to mention… glory will last forever!!!
