We support
There are a few things that are super important to us. We will always stand against inequity and we will always fight for marine life. There are several organizations that we support and we will try to drag you in it. Please read!
Sea Shepherd not anymore…
Sea Shepherd has been visible in the media for a long time. They are involved in projects around the world, which makes them persona non grata in the fish industry all over the world. They were not afraid to call out governments, international organizations, to get into a fight with the biggest fishing cartels in the world. Well… it looks like not anymore… The US chapter was taken over by people who support animals in captivity, who changed course Sea Shepherd was since 70’s. the founder, Capitan Paul Watson was pushed out, forced to quit. They are selling ships and buying new ones for “research”, changing Sea Shepherd into a passive conservation organization, like many others in the US. Politically very correct and so called “cooperative”, meaning – not really effective. The Biggest Mouth is gone now, so nobody there to stop them.
We are observing Paul Watson’s new organization being born. Meantime please do care for the oceans. If Oceans die we die!
Follow them in social media, support matters!

Strajk kobiet – Polska
It is a non-governmental organization that stands behind strikes in Poland, fighting for the rights of Polish women. Obviously, it is about the right to abortion. Apart from the fact that abortion will not disappear, and it will only be more difficult (read more expensive or dangerous), women who don’t want to terminate the pregnancy will now be deprived of proper prenatal care, not to mention – even miscarriage can be treated as a crime! Imagine the tragedy that’ll come with it. Changes in the law were introduced by the catholic church organizations and forced by the government. Those fuckers want to take us back to the middle ages! Women from “strajk kobiet” and all women protesting on the streets will always have my support in that matter. I protest with you, ladies!
Revolution is a woman!
Sea pollution and dying reefs
There are also few things that you should be aware of. One of them is that reefs are dying. We’ve seen too many coral graveyards, and the view is heartbreaking. As much as Sea Shepherd is literally fighting for us on the oceans, we, meaning: you, me, and all your friends and the neighbor next door, can help too by choosing the right products before going on sea-sun-and-beach holidays. If you would like to read more about it, go to the NOAA website.
Infographic Transcript: Sunscreen Chemicals and Marine Life
How sunscreen chemicals enter our environment: The sunscreen you apply may not stay on your skin. When we swim or shower, sunscreen may wash off and enter our waterways.
How sunscreen chemicals can affect marine life:
Green Algae: Can impair growth and photosynthesis.
Coral: Accumulates in tissues. Can induce bleaching, damage DNA, deform young, and even kill.
Mussels: Can induce defects in young.
Sea Urchins: Can damage immune and reproductive systems, and deform young.
Fish: Can decrease fertility and reproduction, and cause female characteristics in male fish.
Dolphins: Can accumulate in tissue and be transferred to young.
Chemicals in some sunscreens that can harm marine life include:
Oxybenzone, Benzophenone-1, Benzophenone-8, OD-PABA, 4-Methylbenzylidene camphor, 3-Benzylidene camphor, nano-Titanium dioxide, nano-Zinc oxide, Octinoxate, Octocrylene
Here are a few ways to protect ourselves and marine life: Consider sunscreen without chemicals that can harm marine life, seek shade between 10 am & 2 pm, and use Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) sunwear.
